Des ministres se sont prêtés au jeu du selfie lundi en attendant le discours d'Emmanuel Macron au Congrès de Versailles, à l'initiative de Marlène Schiappa. Comme attendu, le social a dominé un discours avare d'annonces concrètes. Quasiment tous les sujets ont été abordés par le chef de l'État.

"Le chef de l'État a aussi voulu répondre " aux pires reproches " émanant de parlementaires - dont ceux notamment de La France insoumise qui boycottaient son discours - l'accusant de " dérive monarchique".

Malgré le boycott, le président s'est longuement exprimé et a fait quelques annonces. "La stratégie de lutte contre la pauvreté sera présentée en septembre et mise en oeuvre en 2019", a déclaré le chef de l'Etat. "Elle ne se contentera pas de proposer une politique de redistribution classique, mais une politique d'investissement et d'accompagnement social", a-t-il ajouté. Pour le président, "la clé d'une économie forte" tient dans "l'investissement".

"Une politique pour les entreprises, c'est une politique pour toute la nation, une politique pour l'emploi, une politique pour les services publics" et "pour ceux qui restent en marge", a-t-il insisté. "Vous avez engagé des chantiers d'une ampleur encore jamais vue", a-t-il affirmé.

Pour Emmanuel Macron, "la priorité de l'année qui vient est simple: nous devons construire l'Etat-providence du XXIe siècle".

Balayant les appels à infléchir une trajectoire de réformes, perçue, y compris dans sa majorité, comme très libérale, le président il a dit qu'il continuerait à creuser le même sillon, en privilégiant le renforcement de l'économie.

Concernant l'Europe, Emmanuel Macron a lancé que la véritable frontière en Europe était celle séparant "progressistes" et "nationalistes". Il sera au cœur des enjeux de l'élection européenne de 2019, qui appartient à ces scrutins qui sont aussi des tournants.

Ce dernier a plaidé quant à lui pour une refondation du projet européen vers "une Europe plus souveraine, plus unie, plus démocratique". Et comme au cœur de toute menace, naît une grande opportunité.
