Richie Rich could have been Richie Richer.

The 37-year-old former child movie star, who rose to fame in 1990 after playing Kevin in Home Alone, revealed on Joe Rogan's Joe Rogan Experience podcast this week that he was offered a part on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory before the TV show premiered in 2007.

"They pursued me for The Big Bang Theory", Culkin said on the podcast. "And I said no".

Culkin apparently was less than impressed with the pitch, which he said was reduced to "two astrophysicist nerds and a pretty girl lives with them, yoinks!"

While he didn't specify which role, it was clearly one of the leads considering the amount of money the actor believes he lost out on.

But he added: 'At the same time, I'd be bashing my head against the wall'.

He told Rogen he now lives "a life of leisure" with a property portfolio in the U.S. and overseas. The original five series regulars ― Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg ― each take home $1 million per episode.
