Recalling their meet cute, the 24-year-old said it was love at first sight - at least on his end - as he told Ari he'd tie the knot with her just a day after they first exchanged glances.

A month after announcing that they were dating in May, the couple shocked fans when word got out that they were engaged.

Now, in a candid interview with GQ, Pete admits that he and the pop star were looking at engagement rings much sooner than we realised.

'The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow, " he said.

For now, the pair are "having a really fun time", focusing on their relationship and respective careers, as Grande gears up for the release of her new album, Sweetener, this week and Davidson prepares to get back to the SNL grind - his fifth season on the long-running NBC sketch show kicks off this fall. "Nobody gave a s-- two months ago, so anytime there was an article, I would obviously see it because my mom would send it to me and be like, 'Yaaay!'".
