Bill Cosby Possibly Headed to Jail on Monday

24 Septembre, 2018, 03:58 | Auteur: Christine Menetries

As previously reported, Cosby was found guilty on all three counts of aggravated indecent assault back on April 26. Now, the 81-year-old comedian is about to be sentenced for his crimes, which could see him on probation, house arrest or thrown in prison.

According to Radar Online, while Judge Steven T. O'Neill has denied the prosecutor's request to allow "new, unheard witnesses to testify" at the sentencing, next week, he may allow the five women who testified at the trial to return. The sentencing hearing is set for two days and will begin Monday in Montgomery County. "He deserves every year". She said he gave her a pill he described as an antihistamine.

Prosecutors want some of Cosby's 60 other accusers to testify Monday to show that a pattern of sexual misconduct makes him a predator and a danger. Most recently, they saw their request to have additional accusers be allowed to testify at the sentencing hearing shot down.

Allred said she believed the sentencing would be "sending a message" in the #MeToo era.

During the court proceedings, Cosby admitted giving women drugs but added that he never took the drugs because he wanted to stay in control of himself.
