The internet is baffled by this Drew Barrymore 'interview'

Usually, the disputed article appears in a major glossy magazine or on TMZ - the kind of places that drive the Hollywood gossip machine - and not the inflight magazine of a national carrier.

Though the airline has refuted claims the interview is fake, reps for the actress say otherwise, telling Huffington Post Barrymore "did not participate" in the interview and they are now "working with the airline PR team".

It gets worse! "It is known that Barrymore has had nearly 17 relationships, engagements and marriages", the article continues.

She also narrates the United States version of First Dates, and also appeared in Netflix comedy series Insatiable.

"It is known that Barrymore has had nearly 17 relationships, engagements and marriages", the article, which labels Barrymore "unstable" and includes many grammatical errors, says.

"It is known that Barrymore has had over 17 relationships, engagements and marriages; psychologists believe that her behaviour is only natural since she lacked the male role model in her life after her parents divorce when she was only nine years old", the reporter writes.

I am fully supportive of the manager and my teammates. "We are all giving our everything to improve the results". Yesterday, I liked a post on Instagram without reading the text that accompanied the picture.

The interview received a lot of attention on social media after a Twitter user photographed it aboard a flight and shared the images.

Other responses from Barrymore are filled with grammatical errors including one about the status of women in which the actress appears to repeat the same statement twice: "I can not deny that women made a great achievement over the past century, there is significant progress recorded by people who study women status throughout history". "This is naturally reflected on women in the west who will not be satisfied unless they gain the rights they deserve to the society".

A Twitter account appearing to belong to the author of the piece, Aida Takla-O'Reilly, a former head of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), declared in a post on Thursday the interview had taken place in NY.

"A few years ago, after your last delivery, you gained several kilograms that even your fans accused you of being overweight and neglecting your health", said Tekla, who then congratulated mum-of-two Barrymore for bouncing back to her more "graceful body".

O'Reilly noted that the mag and others are, "authorized to edit the final version of the interviews".

The ABC has reached out EgyptAir and Takla-O'Reilly for comment. Longtime journalist Aida Takla O'Reilly was named president of the HFPA in 2011.
