  • Ozark TV show on Netflix season 3 renewal

Netflix is heading back to the Ozarks.

The crime drama stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Jason Butler Harner, Peter Mullan, and Lisa Emery. While Season 2 of the series only just premiered on August 31, the streaming giant clearly didn't have to wait too long in deciding the show's future, given its popularity and the industry accolades it has already reaped. Bateman confirmed the news on his Twitter account early today as well. It's expected that the season will be released sometime in 2019.

The series stars Bateman as a crooked accountant who moves from Chicago to rural Missouri and gets actively involved with the seamy criminal underbelly of his new home while continuing to launder cartel money through local businesses, including a casino he's working to get operational.

Ozark Season 3 is officially set over at Netflix. As as result, viewers will now get yet another season to watch as Marty and the rest of his family struggle to survive in the ever-dangerous crime world that they've found themselves sinking further and further into.
