Le déficit commercial du Maroc s'est creusé à 152,2 milliards de dirhams (16 milliards de dollars) au cours des neuf premiers mois de 2018, en hausse de 8,2% par rapport à la même période l'année dernière, a annoncé mercredi l'Office des changes, cité par l'agence Reuters.

Selon l'Office des changes, cette aggravation s'explique par une nette augmentation des importations (+31,3 Mds de DH), plus importante que celle des exportations (+19,9 Mds de DH).

Dans ce contexte, le taux de taux couverture s'est situé à 57% contre 56,3% un an auparavant.

Au niveau des importations, les produits pétroliers ont augmenté de 19,8% à 9,8 milliards de dirhams, les achats de biens d'équipement (+10,3% à 8,04 milliards de dirhams), et les produits finis de consommation (+7,1% à 5,2 milliards de dirhams).

Le secteur automobile a exporté pour 6,2 milliards de dirhams, les phosphates et dérivés 5,4 milliards de dirhams, l'agriculture et agro-alimentaire 2,4 milliards de dirhams.

Ces trois secteurs contribuent à hauteur de 71% dans la hausse totale des exportations. Les secteurs de l'aéronautique et du textile et cuir augmentent respectivement de +1,2 Md de DH et de +1,3 Md de DH.
