The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been given a royal welcome from fans young and old, as they continue their first overseas tour in Australia.

But she surprised royal fans with a stylish appearance at the walkabout, and the 37-year-old will be returning to her normal tour schedule as the couple hit the tarmac and head to Fiji on October 23. Sorry ladies, this time you can't dress like a duchess.

The aide told Britain's Express.co.uk, "She isn't sick, she just had a tiring few days and we were concerned about the roads on the island which are incredibly bumpy and uncomfortable for anyone, let alone a pregnant woman".

The Duchess of Sussex skipped most of the day´s events on the island off Queensland state, after a packed tour that has seen the pair travel to Sydney, Melbourne and the regional town of Dubbo since touching down in Australia last Monday.

Markle put her own spin on the mid-length, short-sleeved dress by adding a Philip Treacy fascinator, $1,990 Givenchy clutch and Tabitha Simmons pumps.
