The former First Lady of the PhilippinesImelda Marcos has been found guilty of corruption and is facing up to a decade in jail.
Mrs. Marcos served as the Minister of Human Settlements and was a member of the Interim Batasan Pambansa during her husband's presidency and dictatorship from 1965 to 1986. The Marcos family is a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Marcos, 89, faces imprisonment of between six and 11 years for each count of graft, according to the Sandiganbayan decision released to media today.
