Japon: deux avions de l'armée américaine se percutent, six disparus

Les appareils appartenant au corps des Marines, un chasseur F/A-18 avec deux personnes à bord et un avion de ravitaillement KC-130 avec cinq occupants, se sont percutés lors d'une opération de ravitaillement en vol, selon l'armée américaine.

"Un autre membre de l'équipage du chasseur F/A-18 a été sauvé plus de dix heures après le crash".

Dans un communiqué, l'armée américaine a indiqué que les avions avaient décollé de la base d'Iwakuni, et que des opérations de secours étaient en cours.

" L'un (des deux) est en bonne condition et l'autre a été déclaré mort par le personnel médical compétent", a déclaré jeudi soir le corps des Marines.

Takeshi Iwaya a en outre déploré un accident "regrettable" et promis de "prendre les mesures appropriées" une fois les détails connus.
