Roger Stone's attorneys says that his comments don't merit a "clear and present danger to a fair trial". He also deployed the classic "I'm less famous than Kim Kardashian" defense.

A week after being afforded the opportunity to argue against the idea of a gag order in his criminal case, political operative Roger Stone said that his public discussion of the case wouldn't prevent the court from finding impartial jurors.

Stone's lawyers have alleged CNN, lurking in the shadows at the time of the raid, were tipped off beforehand and that at least one reporter allegedly had a draft copy of Stone's indictment before he appeared in court.

Jackson raised the issue last week after she warned Stone not to treat his criminal case like a "book tour".

The final part of the clip shows Stone's clothing: cut-off shorts, no shoes, and a t-shirt that read "Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong". Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Friday night aired video of the FBI's arrest of President Trump's longtime adviser Roger Stone, questioning the agency's show of force - and why a CNN camera crew was at the scene an hour before authorities arrived just before dawn on January 25.

Stone was ultimately hit with one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, five counts of false statements and one count of witness tampering, according to the Washington Post. US intelligence agencies have said that Russia was the source of the hacked material, and previous year Mueller charged 12 Russian intelligence officers in the hacking. But they have not accused Stone of being directly involved in any Russian election conspiracy.
