Ford procède à un rappel important de son modèle F-150

Ford a annoncé mercredi le rappel de 1,48 million d'exemplaires de son pick-up à succès F-150 en Amérique du Nord en raison d'un problème de transmission susceptible d'augmenter le risque d'accident.

Ce rappel de véhicules vise les modèles F-150 assemblés entre 2011 et 2013 et qui possèdent une transmission automatique à six vitesses.

Environ 221 000 unités canadiennes sont concernées par ce rappel.

Les modèles touchés ont été construits entre avril 2010 et octobre 2013 à l'usine de Dearborn et entre mai 2010 et novembre 2013 à l'usine de Kansas City.
