The Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG 147, which was on its way to Dubai from Dhaka, reportedly made an emergency landing in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

A gunman allegedly tried to take command of the cockpit, leading to the emergency landing, local media reported. The plane is now stranded at Chittagong worldwide airport.

Police said all of the passengers have been able to disembark safely. Local media reports indicate that one crew member has been shot. The plane did an emergency landing at the airport around 5.40PM Bangladesh time.
