Celtic boss Neil Lennon sends ultimatum to players after sloppy Hibs draw

  • Brendan Rodgers brought through some impressive young talent during his Celtic days

Lennon has helped guide the Hoops after Rodgers departure, but the club are reported pursuing a new man for next season.

"It was very frustrating, from quality players all over the board", said Lennon, who revealed left-back Kieran Tierney could be out for the rest of the season with an ongoing hip and pelvis problem which requires a trip to see a specialist. It takes time and it took time for me to get to know the players and vice versa.

"It's academic. Regardless of whether I'm here or not, they should be focussing".

He clearly isn't happy that we are dropping so many points of late and while the club remain undefeated under his guidance, there are real and valid questions about his ability to take the team forward into next season.

"They're on the cusp of something very, very special".

The draw leaves Celtic four points away from another title, with Rangers refusing to give up on their slim hope of overtaking their old rivals, having won three games on the bounce.

Justin Bieber makes surprise appearance at Coachella
We bring you the latest celebrity news about Justin Bieber , Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, Kardashians, and much more, every day. In July 2017, he abruptly cancelled the last 14 dates of his objective world tour, citing personal problems.

"It was a pressure game last Sunday and the players negotiated it brilliantly, so I'm looking for more this Sunday". We are dictating our own destiny here and we have to dictate it a bit better than we did in the last two league games.

It would be more of a worry if we weren't creating chances.

"I wasn't overly enamoured with our first half performance at all". Obviously against Hibs we had great chances to win the game. Forget about the noise out there - "You can win it here, you can win it there" - you have to win the game and that's what's angering me, because we are up and down at the minute.

"It doesn't matter when we win it [the title] as long as we win it".

"Psychologically the boys are in a good place and we need to maintain it".

"So, I wouldn't say we are dragging our heels as we have had a lot of football". We looked lackadaisical, lacked physicality at times, energy and quality.
