A woman attempted to kidnap a 4-year-old boy in South Los Angeles today, the second such attempt by the suspect in as many days, police said.

Maralyn Ramos, 33, was taken into custody at 10.45pm Wednesday near the intersection of San Pedro and Agatha streets in downtown Los Angeles, according to an LAPD spokesperson.

They said she was caught on camera taking a child from the McDonald's restaurant at 1310 East Olympic Boulevard, in LA, on Tuesday, about 3.15pm.

'The suspect attempted to enter a parked vehicle with the victim, but was stopped by a witness.
