  • Atletico Madrid CEO reveals where Antoine Griezmann will play next season

Antoine Griezmann will sign for Barcelona this summer, Atletico Madrid's CEO, Gil Martin, has confirmed.

The attacker has been with Atletico since 2014 having joined from Real Socieded but despite deciding to stay last summer - announcing his choice on television - Griezmann made the call at the end of the season to reveal this is the year he will depart.

But while Barcelona have always been mentioned as the team closest to clinching his signature, a potential move is still shrouded in doubt.

That seeming hesitation threatens to allow other teams to make their own approach, with Manchester United one of the teams reportedly interested in the player.
