The sensational MG ZS EV has been created to bring EV technology to a wider audience than ever before and represents an exciting new chapter in the MG story.

The electric MG ZS SUV is going on sale in the United Kingdom with a 163-mile (262 km) range and a special offer that promises prices from £21,495 for the first 1,000 cars registered.

That battery is a water-cooled 44.5kWh unit which provides 163 miles of range. This also results in a low centre of gravity, making ZS EV agile and dynamic through corners.

The first zero-emission SUV in India carries plenty of significance for the brand as it brings Hyundai firmly into the picture in terms of green mobility. Customers wishing to make sure they secure one of the first 1,000 retail cars, available from just £21,495, can place a £500 deposit to reserve their place in the queue by visiting mg.co.uk/electric.

Once the first 1000 examples have been sold, the ZS EV will be available from £24,995, including the government grant. After deducting the Government Grant of £3,500 and the matching MG EV Grant, the first 1,000 retail customers can purchase their vehicle from just £21,495.

Owners of these early models will receive a free home charging point, which will be installed at no extra charge by MG. The more upmarket Exclusive version has a price tag of £30,495 ($37,966/€33,802), which is also included in the special offer which drops the price to £23,495 ($29,251/€26,043) after the subsidies.
