‘Fast & Furious 9’ Halts Production After Stuntman Injured on Set

An injury to a stuntman on the set of Universal's Fast & Furious 9 at Leavesden studios in the United Kingdom halted production Monday. Production on the movie has halted at Warner Bros.

Police and paramedics were called to Leavesden Studios in the United Kingdom on Monday (July 22).

A Hertfordshire Police rep said: "Police were called shortly before noon today following an incident at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire".

A man has suffered serious head injuries while filming at Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire. "We have halted production for the day to focus on this situation".

The incident unfolded as the latest in the blockbuster series starring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez was being filmed at Studios Leavesden near Watford.

Since then, unspecified "foreign bodies" have been discovered in food at a restaurant at the studio and police are investigating. With studio space in demand in the United Kingdom, an expansion program is underway.
