The event in Pakistan was organised by a close relative of former president of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf.

The report further states, "Due to his closeness to the Prime Minister, Asad succeeded in procuring visas for Mika Singh and his 14-member troupe, and went on to host the Bollywood night on August 8 in Karachi, despite a blanket ban by the Pakistan government on shows performed by any Indian artiste or film personality".

In an official statement released by AICWA, President Suresh Gupta said that the organisation has taken a stand of immediately boycotting all of Mika's associations with production houses and music companies, as well as with online music content providers.

"When the tension between the countries is at the peak, Mika Singh puts money above the nation's pride", the film association said.

Looks like Bollywood singer Mika Singh has landed in trouble after he performed at the mehendi ceremony of Pakistan's Karachi based billionaire businessman Adnan Asad's daughter.

Post which Pakistan banned Indian films and cultural content. Several people called out on the singer on social media for performing in Karachi, Pakistan.

The latest round of tensions between India and Pakistan arose after India diluted the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and divided it into two union territories.
