The next Apple Watch will also come loaded with watchOS 6 straight out of the box.

After last year's big revision to the Apple Watch the Cupertino tech giant have once again introduced a big upgrade to their popular smart wearable. The EKG is back of course, and new to the Apple Watch will be International Emergency Calling, making it easy to contact emergency services in over 100 countries. This means that Series 5 is likely backward-compatible with all previous bands. The company has detailed the Apple Watch Series 5 price in India. The watch has a new built-in compass and updated Maps app which allow users to see which way they are facing.

Built-in compass. Developers can also take advantage of compass through APIs.

The major upgrade for the Apple Watch Series 5 is an always-on display. This should offer peace of mind to worldwide travelers.

Stainless steel variants remain on offer, in gold, silver and space black. The latter has received a custom polish from Apple and will also be available in Space Gray colors.

The only other new physical addition is the option to get a Series 5 with a titanium chassis.

Starting later this year, Apple Watch owners will be able to enroll to participate in these studies, when applicable, through the new Apple Research app.

Among these features are an improved heart rate monitor, the ability to track your menstrual cycle and an alert if noise levels rise to a point that could impact your hearing. (Apple doesn't have access to any identifying data from those studies.) The company is working with research institutions such as the University of MI and Harvard's School of Public Health to make those studies possible.
