Tony Mann, president of UAW Local 668, confirmed that 75 percent of hourly workers at the facility and 73 percent of skilled trades employees, approved the tentative agreement, which GM workers around the country are voting on this week. "There is a chance they could have some pushback".
The tentative agreement is a win for temporary workers and will put a big ratification bonus in workers' bank accounts, but the company's confirmation that three USA plants will stay closed could spell trouble among rank-and-file union members.
