As per sources, the actress fell unconscious on Thursday afternoon while shooting at Madh island for a web series.

Television actor and model Gehana Vasisth has suffered from heart attack during the shoot of a web series. Dr Pranav Kabra (MD) of Raksha hospital is reportedly attending her case. It is reported that after this, she was admitted to the hospital in Mumbai in an unconscious condition and since then she was in ICU.

The actress is now undergoing treatment at the Raksha Hospital in Mumbai's Malad area.

Dr Pranav Kabra (MD) - cardiac and diabetes specialist who attended to her as soon as she was admitted said, "from the preliminary information we have got so far, Gehana Vasisth was shooting for almost 48 hours without consuming proper nourishment". According to sources, the actress has been kept on ventilator support and other life-saving equipment.

IANS quoted Pranav Kabra, doctor, and head of Raksha Hospital, as saying, "From the preliminary information we have got so far, Gehana Vasisth was shooting for almost 48 hours without proper nourishment". He revealed that it took the team of doctors two hours to revive her pulse.

The doctor told IANS, "She is not responding to treatment and has difficulty breathing on her own".

The doctors told the news agency that Vasisth's condition may have worsened due to a reaction between the prescribed medicines she was taking and a few energy drinks that she had consumed.

Gehena has been admitted to the Intensive Care section.

Gehana has been working continuously without taking proper nutrition. She has been put on ventilator to ensure proper oxygen supply to her brain and other body parts.

Vasisth, who's diabetic, had high blood sugar and low blood pressure.

Dr. Kabra said they're awaiting test results to see if there was a possible reaction.
