As per the settlement, Malik Riaz Hussain and his family, who will give £ 19m of assets under the settlement, have the money in their freezing bank accounts, as well as a building called One Hyde Park Place, located in the central London area.

According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister office on Tuesday, the United Kingdom's National Crime Agency has agreed an out of court settlement in a pending investigation with a Pakistani family that owns large property developments in Pakistan and elsewhere.

The agency said the assets would be passed to the government of Pakistan, which has led an anti-corruption campaign since Prime Minister Imran Khan came to power previous year.

The NCA presser said another £20 million worth of assets were frozen in December 2018, which were linked to the same investigation.

Forbes added 25 points, Jakob Poeltl had 15 rebounds, five blocks and five assists, and Rudy Gay added 14 points in 23 minutes. The home side then blew a 10-point lead with four minutes of normal time to play to lose after double overtime.

The NCA had beforehand secured 9 freezing orders masking 140 million kilos within the accounts on the grounds that the cash might have been acquired illegally.

A senior communications officer for the NCA confirmed to Newsweek Pakistan via email that "all the assets have now been returned to Pakistan". However, no individuals were named. The repatriation of funds is a result of an out-of-court settlement in a civil matter and is a success story of close co-operation between the United Kingdom and Pakistan's multiple law enforcement agencies and efforts made since last year's Justice and Accountability Partnership created between the two countries.

As per the agreement between the parties, further details of the settlement are confidential.

Earlier this year in March, the Supreme Court of Pakistan accepted an offer of Bahria Town (Pvt) Ltd - owned by Malik Riaz - to settle cases pertaining to its Malir or Karachi Superhighway project in lieu of payment of Rs460 billion.
