George and Amal Clooney Donate $100,000 Toward Migrant Children

"At some point in the future our children will ask us: 'Is it true, did our country really take babies from their parents and put them in detention centers?'" George and Amal Clooney said in a statement posted to their website. They said the Clooney Foundation for Justice will donate the money to the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights.

'And when we answer yes, they'll ask us what we did about it.

George and Amal Clooney are joining the leagues of Hollywood's A-listers-including Reese Witherspoon, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and more-standing in opposition to the Trump administration's zero-tolerance immigration policy, which has resulted in the separation of thousands of immigrant children from their parents. "We can't change this administration's policy but we can help defend the victims of it".
