"Not one time has Kawhi come out and said anything to the effect of, 'You know what, hey, I really enjoy being in San Antonio.' Or, 'I can't stand what's going on here in San Antonio, ' " Bowen said. Leonard has also been a class act, and Bowen's accusations add yet another layer to what has already been the best and strangest story of the summer.

Leonard is reportedly looking to leave San Antonio and is not concerned with missing out on the supermax contract of five years and $219 million that he is eligible for.

It appears highly unlikely that Kawhi Leonard will suit up and play for the Spurs in the 2018-19 season.

"First, it was, 'Well I was misdiagnosed, '" Bowen said (via ESPN).

Former Spurs star Bruce Bowen didn't hold back on his thoughts on the Kawhi Leonard-Spurs saga in an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio Thursday. He'd give the Sixers another Defensive Player of the Year candidate and a legitimate go-to scorer on the perimeter.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, who may still have a strong chance of retaining James, have reportedly shown interest in Leonard, but it's doubtful that they can offer anyone that the Spurs would want. "Are you kidding me?"

Mohamed Salah Considering Quitting Egypt
However, suggestions Salah is ready to retire from the global game were dismissed by the Egyptian FA, per BBC Sport. The Pharaohs take on Saudi Arabia on Monday, June, 25, amid suggestions Salah could pull out of worldwide football.

"I think all of us would wish that things would have gone differently", Buford said. "I think what you're starting to see now is an individual given a certain amount of advice, and it's not the right advice". It's about camaraderie. It's about fellowship. It's a brotherhood. When that didn't happen, it's all kinds of sirens and alarm signals that says to me, 'Is this person fully vested?' ...

The backlash to Leonard is to be expected, particularly from those in San Antonio (not so much from people in Los Angeles, where Leonard is trying to force himself to).

The clock was believed to be ticking for a potential draft day deal involving Leonard, but the front office mainstay argued the Spurs aren't rushing this one bit.

And while it may never be known exactly what is going through Leonard's head, it seemed pretty clear that he was hurt by something San Antonio did.

Bowen, for his part, wasn't thrilled with Leonard not being present during the Spurs' first-round playoff series, and doesn't think the Spurs' players should want him around.
