Tunisia face the prospect of fielding a striker in goal against Panama in their final Group G at the World Cup after Federation Internationale de Football Association denied the Eagles of Carthage the opportunity to call up an emergency stopper after injuries to their starting keeper and number two after their first two games in Russia.

Panama and Tunisia were playing a dead rubber as the two already had been eliminated from Group G.

Tunisia, ranked 21st in the world, finished third in Group G behind Belgium and England.

Former Swedish global Marcus Allback scored the 2000th goal in the tournament's history against England in the 2006 edition, and Claudio Caniggia scored for Argentina against Nigeria in the 1994 edition to strike the 1500th.

Tunisia's victory was expected, looking more competitive in losses to England and Belgium than Panama, which was competing in its first World Cup. However, Tunisia did not win a game in any of those tournaments. The north African country won the first World Cup game they played in 1978, defeating Mexico 3-1.

Panama's endeavor throughout the opening stages of the game, where they harried Tunisian possession continuously force errors, was reaping dividends and the goal was a just reward for starting the game the brighter of the two sides. Live streaming is available on Fox Sports Go, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscription, either online or through their app.

While both teams have already advanced to the round of 16, the victor of Thursday's game will have an easier route in the knockout stage.
