DJAKARTA, 4 juillet (Reuters) - Au moins 29 personnes ont péri dans le naufrage d'un ferry près de l'île indonésienne de Célèbes, ont annoncé mercredi les autorités.
Le navire transportait également 48 voitures et motos en plus des passagers et membres d'équipage, a informé le directeur général des transports maritimes au ministère des Transports, Agus Purnomo, à Xinhua.
Outre les 34 morts, 155 personnes ont été secourues, a indiqué l'agence nationale de gestion des catastrophes, ne faisant mention d'aucun disparu dans son dernier bilan.
Le bateau a coulé quelques semaines à peine après la mort de plus de 200 personnes dans le naufrage d'un autre ferry sur le lac indonésien de Toba. Des images du naufrage montraient des passagers s'accrochant sur un côté du KM Lestari en train de couler, alors des vagues déferlaient sur des camions et autres véhicules sur le bateau à environ 300 mètres des côtes des Célèbes.
