Elon Musk says he is "happy to help" if there's anything he can contribute to the rescue mission of a Thai soccer team that's been trapped inside a cave since June.
Thai rescue workers have drilled through rock connected to the cave the 12 boys are trapped inside, in an attempt to get them out safely.
Bloomberg said the billionaire's firms could assist by trying to pinpoint the boys' precise location using Space Exploration Technologies Corp or Boring Co technology, pumping water or providing heavy-duty battery packs known as Tesla Inc Powerwalls, Musk's spokesman for Musk said earlier. He also said he could send Tesla's commercial Powerpack batteries or water pumps to help remove water from the flooded cave.
It's unclear whether Thai officials will accept the offer.
The boys, aged 11-16, and their 25-year-old coach went exploring in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave in the northern province after a football game two weeks ago.

Youth due in court over Alesha MacPhail death
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area on the night/morning in question to come forward and contact them. Detective Superintendent Stuart Houston praised Alesha's family for their "bravery" and the local community for "their support".
Presently, the most likely option for the group's rescue involves waiting for water levels to recede, or teaching the boys how to dive so they can be guided out safely. Most of the boys can not swim.
The paper reported that a year ago, after a devastating hurricane hit Puerto Rico, the government there asked Musk for help.
Over the past couple days, Musk posited possible ways his companies could help in Thailand.
Mr Musk's tunnelling startup Boring Co could potentially make available its massive drills or excavation expertise, but such an approach could be too unsafe for this mission.
