Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz "will not be shut down" and "will not be intimidated" for defending President Donald Trump's civil liberties, Dershowitz said Friday on Fox News' "America's Newsroom".
"I am a liberal Democrat in politics, but a neutral civil libertarian when it comes to the Constitution", Dershowitz wrote.
Dershowitz continues to note that he is not a Trump supporter, and in fact "voted for, and contributed handsomely, to Hillary Clinton". "'The Boston Globe says that Alan Dershowitz is receiving the cold should in the Vineyard". One of them, an academic at a distinguished university, has told people that he would not attend any dinner or party to which I was invited.... "But that is not good enough for some of my old friends on Martha's Vineyard". He and others have demanded "trigger warnings" so that they can be assured of having "safe spaces" in which they will not encounter me or my ideas. "She - like those who shun me on Martha's Vineyard - is part of the problem rather than the solution". Others have said they will discontinue contributions to organizations that sponsor my talks.
Dershowitz challenged Scarborough to have him on the show to respond. "But at a party this week at Martha's vineyard, a woman said 'if Dershowitz were here tonight I'd stab him through the heart'".

Jusuf Nurkic agrees to four-year deal with Blazers
The Blazers were swept in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs by the New Orleans Hornets. Portland selected guard Anfernee Simons with the 24th pick in the 2018 draft.
Dershowitz also spoke out again about his recent plights at Martha's Vineyard, where he said to have been shunned by his fellow liberals over his defense of Trump's constitutional rights, with one woman even fantasizing about his death.
Speaking with Tucker Carlson last night, the high profile legal eagle, who has represented such esteemed individuals as billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, said that his unwillingness to call for Trump's immediate impeachment has made eating $150 lobster roll hors d'oeuvres a life-and-death endeavour.
"They did this to try to hurt me, but the end result is they're helping Donald Trump".
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough went so far as to claim that Dershowitz was "doing the bidding of Donald Trump" and Russian president Vladimir Putin.
