According to federal Department of Labor documents BuzzFeed first dug up yesterday, the Trump Organization has filed a request for 40 more foreign workers at Mar-a-Lago, the douchey villa he owns in Palm Beach that will hopefully be swallowed by the ocean one day soon.

The club is hiring 40 waiters and waitresses and 21 cooks to work the busy season from October 1 to May 31.

These so-called H-2B visas are only issued if employers can prove that there aren't enough "able, willing, qualified and available" American workers to perform the jobs in question, and demonstrate that the arrival of foreign workers "will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed US workers, according to the Department of Labor".

The postings show that - despite Trump's insistence that immigration is holding down wages and crowding out native-born American workers - his club believes it can not find any Americans in South Florida who are qualified to hold two very common restaurant-industry jobs. Since 2010 Mar-a-Lago alone has obtained a total of 500 H-2B visas for seasonal foreign workers, according to The New Yorker.

The lawsuit claims that the charity was used to promote Trump's private businesses and his presidential campaign, also alleging that Trump requested foundation funds be used to settle a case between the city of Palm Beach, Fla., and Mar-a-Lago. Servers would earn $12.68 an hour and cooks would be paid $13.31 an hour.

Chase Scott, an event planner with the Salvation Army, said Trump's decision to give them a $25,000 check after the group held a Christmas event at Mar-a-Lago was not part of an incentive.

The posting for waiters shows Trump wants to hire five more foreigners for those jobs than in 2017. Many resorts in the Palm Beach area use the program to find seasonal help.

The Trump Organization hired at least 1,260 foreign workers from 2001 to 2016, according to a CNN analysis.

Trump has criticized USA companies for employing foreign workers, but has defended Mar-a-Lago's hiring practices, saying there aren't enough local applicants.
