A bicyclist in Wisconsin plunged right into the crevasse of a drawbridge as it was going up.

In the video, the events of which took place on July 4 in Menasha, Wisconsin, the cyclist seems to ignore the flashing red warning lights on the lowered gates that are blocking the way to the bridge.

In the video you can see a woman on a bicycle maneuver past the arms, hit one and almost fall off her bike.

According to a later report, bystanders alerted the bridge operator, who kept the bridge raised until the woman and her bike were well clear of the gap.
