Kyrie Irving Wishes He Had Never Said The World Is Flat

A year and a half after rattling the National Basketball Association world and beyond by saying he had no doubt that the Earth was flat, Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving says he regrets ever bringing up the topic.

Irving was speaking onstage at an event in Boston arranged by Forbes when he was asked about his widely noted comments from February 2017.

Irving didn't claim that he had changed his mind, but he did apologize for ever bringing up the subject. I spent more time with my teammates than I do with my family and you want to be in a place where thinking about starting over again, obviously that's what the thing you think about.

"This is not even a conspiracy theory", Irving told Jefferson and Frye while recording the podcast on an airplane.

Kyrie Irving is officially done discussing the shape of planet Earth. He urged people to do their research on the matter and blamed "them" for lying to us (without naming "them").

Irving told the crowd Monday he had been "huge into conspiracies" at the time of his initial comments. "Everybody's been there like, 'Whoa!"
