Jalen Ramsey responds to Tyreek Hill's trash talk

"Being a competitor, loving the game as much as everybody loves it - that's what you want".

On Thursday, after Hill said that he "can't wait to line up against" Ramsey on Sunday, Ramsey pointed out that while he is an All-Pro and Pro Bowl cornerback, Hill is an All-Pro and Pro Bowl return specialist, not an All-Pro and Pro Bowl receiver.

Pretty sure Hill has chucked up the deuces for 70-yard touchdowns multiple times this season out of the wide receiver position, but we can just let Ramsey have this one. He went to two Pro Bowls as a return specialist - return specialist - two years. "They do a good job of getting guys the ball who can be unsafe with it". Then again, this is the same guy who said he'd hit his grandma if she was on the field, so he'll do anything to get the competitive edge.

Hill doesn't sound like he's going to be phased, as he's excited to prove himself against the top dog at cornerback right now.

Ramsey said that in response to Hill's comments on Wednesday, when Hill said he was looking forward to the matchup with Ramsey at Arrowhead Stadium. It's going to be extremely humbling for the Pro Bowl cornerback when he sees the "return specialist" gas him for a score.

"You know, I feel like it was a strategic, smart move by him. I play press, right?"

"I just wished he would have picked a side", Ramsey said. "I'm not calling [Denver's] Chris Harris or nobody else bad, but he's top dog right now, so I can't wait". Ramsey said. "Either I'm just all right or I'm the top dog". "He's going to get the buzz going around there a little bit".

"Me and Tyreek, we're going to probably have some opportunities to match up against each other, but it won't be like that for the majority of the game", Ramsey said. "He moves around everywhere". I think everybody knows that.

"He's going to get some clout", Ramsey said. He plays running back, receiver, slot.

"If you look at my film, what do I do every week?" Ramsey said. "I play press every week no matter who I'm playing". The Jaguars' secondary, which accounted for 18 of the team's 21 interceptions last season, does not have an interception this season. He may re-think that at some point, Ramsey said. "Hopefully we can capitalize on them".
