Amal Clooney Looks Like Actual Royalty for Dinner at Buckingham Palace

The superstar human-rights lawyer attended the Prince's Trust dinner at Buckingham Palace looking like she was ready for a black-tie cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and an appointment to save the world from Thanos afterwards at 8.

The Prince of Wales welcomed donors, supporters and ambassadors of the Prince's Trust charity last night, where actual royalty mingled with Hollywood royalty, George Clooney and wife Amal Clooney.

The actor has called the United Kingdom home since marrying the human rights lawyer in 2014 and has firmly reserved a place among British high society.

Amal was every inch the star in her strapless white silk dress, with sash detail to highlight her trim waist. Clooney's cape appeared to flow over one arm and be connected to a sleeve. She accessorized with a reflective box clutch and diamond earrings.

George and Amal, who are parents to toddler twins Ella and Alexander, looked at ease in royal company as they shared a joke with Prince Charles.

Amal and George are of course well affiliated with the royals, with the lawyer a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex.

Joining the pair was American actor Josh Hartnett, 40, who cut a dapper figure in a red velvet blazer as he posed next to his partner St Trinian's actress, Tamsin Egerton, 30.

Also in attendance was Chiwetel Ejiofor, Luke Evans, Tamsin Egerton, Josh Hartnett and Benedict Cumberbatch.
