Hornibrook has spent the past three seasons at Wisconsin and was 26-6 as the team's starter.

Florida State was thin at quarterback entering the 2019 season. FSU now has three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster. As a graduate transfer, Hornibrook will be eligible immediately.

The addition of Hornibrook will put a bit of pressure on projected starter and redshirt sophomore James Blackman. The Badgers finished the season with an 8-5 record.

He filled in for Deondre Francois during the 2017 after Francois was injured in the season opener, and threw for 2,230 yards, 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He's expected to compete for the starting job.

Based on his time in Tallahassee so far, Blackman presumably has the inside track to start over Hornibrook - but at least there's some competition now. Hornibrook is the second transfer quarterback to pick the Seminoles this offseason, along with former Louisville quarterback Jordan Travis.

Wisconsin and Florida State might be the most diametrically opposed programs in major college football.
