The Patriots Have Reportedly Signed A New WR

Apparently, the Patriots liked what they saw as they have reportedly signed both receivers they brought in for visits on Thursday.

The former SC star had his best season with the Texans in 2017, grabbing 29 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns. New England has faced Ellington three times over the past two years and seen him make a dozen catches for 189 yards and two scores. His lone touchdown came in Houston's season opener at New England, his best statistical game with the Texans. Primarily a slot receiver, Ellington has been praised for his work ethic and intelligence but has struggled with hamstring and back injuries in recent years.

The Detroit Lions snapped Ellington up just a few days after he was cut by Houston.
