Un temps donné perdu pour le golf, Tiger Woods a retrouvé dimanche, à 43 ans, sa place au sommet: il a signé, en remportant le prestigieux Masters d'Augusta, l'un des plus improbables come-backs de l'histoire du sport.

Il a remporté le Masters pour la cinquième fois de sa carrière, 22 ans après son premier succès à Augusta, dans l'Etat de Géorgie.

À son illustre palmarès, l'ancien numéro un mondial ajoute ainsi un 15e titre dans un tournoi majeur, un premier depuis celui du US Open en 2008.

Seul Jack Nicklaus a obtenu plus de victoires que Woods en tournois majeurs avec un total de 18.
