Separately, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchinsaid he would not provide the House Ways and Means Committee with six years of Trump's individual and business tax returns, despite a formal request by Chairman Richard Neal under a law authorizing such actions.
"As you have recognized, the committee's request is unprecedented, and it presents serious constitutional questions, the resolution of which may have lasting consequences for all taxpayers", Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, wrote in a letter to Democratic Rep. Richard Neal of MA.
