A former University of Southern California soccer coach is expected to plead guilty to allegations that she created fake athletic profiles for the children of wealthy parents in the college admissions bribery scheme.

On Tuesday, Laura Janke, a former soccer coach at USC, pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge.

"Under a plea agreement Janke signed last month, she has been cooperating with prosecutors who say she could testify against others charged in the case, including actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli", according to NPR.

Loughlin and Giannulli filed court documents waiving their right to appear for an arraignment and entered not guilty pleas to the charges against them.

Authorities say the former assistant women's soccer coach accepted bribes and helped make bogus athletic profiles to get applicants admitted to universities as recruits for sports they didn't play.

At the behest of Singer, Janke in 2017 created a profile portraying the couple's younger daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli as a competitive rower, even though she didn't participate in the sport, the feds say. They haven't commented publicly and their lawyers and representative didn't respond to an email seeking comment on Tuesday's developments.

Janke also made fake athletic profiles for a Canadian client portaying them as an elite soccer player for UCLA, as well as a pole vaulter profile for the son of Elisabeth Kimmel, Rosen said. According to prosecutors, the money was funneled from a sham charity run by Singer to a soccer camp run by Janke and Ali Khosroshahin, the head coach of USC women's soccer. Those profiles were used to gain students admission not just at USC, but also at Stanford and Yale.

Janke was among a dozen coaches and test administrators indicted on a racketeering conspiracy charge in March as part of the admissions scam.

In one instance, Janke created a bogus profile for the daughter of Toby MacFarlane, a former senior executive at a title insurance company, which described her as a "US Club Soccer All American", prosecutors said.

Huffman admitted to shelling out $15,000 to improve her daughter's SAT exam, and although she faces up to 20 years in prison, the Justice Department is reportedly recommending a "low-end" sentencing that will involve four to ten months of prison time and a fine. MacFarlane's daughter graduated from USC previous year without ever playing at the school. His son didn't play basketball at USC and withdrew from the school a year ago, they said.
