  • Neil Lennon gives injury updates on Bolingoli, Forrest and Johnson

The Parkhead side could have taken the lead before the break when Edouard played in Forrest but his effort with the outside of his foot flew over the bar.

Celtic came from behind to beat FK Sarajevo 3-1 in the first leg of their Champions League first qualifying round clash at the Asim Ferhatovic Hase Stadium.

Odsonne Edouard's composed finish made it 2-1 six minutes after the restart and substitute Scott Sinclair struck five minutes from time to as good as put the tie beyond Sarajevo.

Bolingoli-Mbombo's sounds like it could be the more serious of the three injuries as he rolled his ankle in the first half and his condition worsened to the point where he had to be taken off. His finish showed great composure.

Celtic were not behind for long though as Mikey Johnston levelled the scores, already highlighting his huge talent this early in the campaign, which will have delighted the Celtic Park boss. Again, he did some special things in the game, so he can be delighted.

"It was a really important goal at that stage of the game". But we are looking to move in the transfer market to help us get up and running in certain positions.' Meanwhile, Johnston hopes his wonder strike can keep him in the Celtic starting line-up. "He has not cropped up in any conversation so far".

It was the first qualifying game of a potential four rounds to make the group stages, and the Glasgow club clearly have the upper hand. "But the attitude, fitness of the players and quality of the goals - it was a really good start".

Lennon was pleased with what his side are taking into the second leg but insists the tie is not over. It was a terrific team performance.

"We ended up wearing them down and it was a great start to the second half with Odsonne's goal".

Ryan Christie fires a shot at goal.
