A six-year-old South Korean YouTube star with 30 million subscribers has purchased a multimillion dollar, five-story property in Seoul.

The tiny big spender, known as Boram on her popular toy review channel, snapped up the building in the trendy suburb of Gangnam via the Boram Family company earlier this year, CNN reports. One is a toy review channel that boasts 13.6 million subscribers and the other is a 17.6-million-subscriber video blog channel.

But some of Boram's content has attracted controversy in South Korea for the values it promotes. The charity accused the guardians of the child YouTuber of gaining financial profit by putting the children in situations that could put them under mental distress and distributing the footage to the public, with a negatively influence on underage viewers who watch the clips.

According to YouTube analytics website Social Blade, the two channels - Boram Tube ToysReview and Boram Tube Vlog - have the largest number of subscribers and earn the most marketing revenue among South Korean YouTube channels.

The Korea Morning Herald report also stated that the Seoul Family Court upheld the charity's accusations and ordered protective disposition to Boram's parents.

Boram ToysReview, along with Ryan ToysReview, who is a 7-year-old internet star, has reached the milestone of top of the Forbes Richest YouTubers list in 2018, has reached this milestone.

The offending clips have since been taken down, Koh said. He earned US$22 million through his channel, which has over 20.8 million subscribers.

In February, YouTube chose to switch off comments on videos of minors after accusations that the platform had aided pedophiles in finding clips of children.
