The investigation found the 17-year-old allegedly stole her parents' debit cards to withdraw $503.00 to help pay for her parents to be killed and then another payment of $926.40 to a second individual when the first act wasn't carried out.

Hatcher, a student at Umatilla High School, is now facing two counts of criminal solicitation of murder and one count of theft, the office said.

A 17-year-old girl reportedly stole money from her parents and used it to pay two people to kill them, according to local police reports. Her parents intend to press charges, the affidavit says. Later, Hatcher's boyfriend told police officers of her plan.

She is believed to have stolen her parents' debit card before making two transactions to withdraw funds.

Neither plots were successful.

After being taken into custody, she was transported to the Lake County Jail, where she was processed before being turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

She later found it and a piece of paper with her bank account information written on it in her daughter's room, according to the report.

Confirming that Hatcher's parents wanted to press charges, Jones told local station WOFL-TV, "When it comes to something like that, I can not imagine the shock you would be in as a parent knowing that this is my daughter - what my daughter meant to do".

Police said Hatcher's mother discovered that her debit card was missing from her locked wallet inside her home. "I couldn't even imagine something like that". They said she also bought some cocaine.

According to the report, Hatcher's parents are pressing criminal charges against their daughter.

Sgt Fred Jones said: "There were people who were saying on social media how much she hates her parents".
