The University of Tennessee in Knoxville is extending an offer of admission and a four-year scholarship to a little boy who was bullied at school for making his own University of Tennessee shirt. The university has since offered the young boy a full scholarship.

The Florida boy gained worldwide attention after he drew his version of the UT logo and pinned it to his orange shirt for his school's college colors day.

In an effort to cheer him up, Snyder wrote that she planned to buy him a University of Tennessee shirt.

But after lunch, the student came back to her room, put his head on his desk, and began crying. "Some girls at the lunch table next to his had made fun of his sign that he had attached to his shirt", Snyder shared.

The boy, who lives in Florida, would be part of the class of 2032.

So impressed with his Vols spirit, UT turned his design into an official T-shirt, donating a portion of the proceeds to anti-bullying foundation Stomp Out Bullying.

The statement added, "More than 50,000 shirts featuring the boy's design have been pre-sold by the VolShop".

After the boy's story went viral, and the school sent the boy some UT gear, Tennessee made a decision to offer him a four-year scholarship and an offer of admission for after he graduates from high school.

She told the university how grateful she is, and how deeply touched she and her family have been by the outpouring of support from around the world.

In addition to admission into the university, the boy was gifted with several UT gifts, including hats, helmets, T-shirts, jerseys and more.

The student's mother wrote a letter of gratitude that Snyder posted. "My student was so amazed at all the goodies in the box. He had a big smile on his face, walker taller and I could tell his confidence grew today!"
