  • Four killed, three injured in Crown Heights mass shooting

Four people were killed and three others wounded in a Saturday morning shooting at a Brooklyn club that police believe had been hosting illegal gambling.

Police say the shooting took place in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn at an address that corresponds to a private social club according to an online map of the street.

Shea described the scene as "chaotic" when officers first responded.

Shea said that among the victims, two were from "out of state" and the remaining five resided in different areas of Brooklyn. The ages of the deceased range from 32 years old to 49 years old.

Shea said the three people who were wounded - a woman and two men - were being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
