What reportedly was the final straw for the Jaguars and Jalen Ramsey

  • Richard Sherman Jalen Ramsey

Given Ramsey's actions during the latter part of his Jaguars career, this was a questionable decision for the Rams.

Ramsey suffered a mysterious back injury during the season, but seemed prepared to play in Week 6 on October 13 against the New Orleans Saints.

But according to another ESPN report, the Eagles were in the mix for Ramsey and offered a lucrative package to the Jaguars.

While the back injury held Ramsey out for three weeks in Jacksonville, he was a full participant at L.A.'s practice on Friday and coach Sean McVay said Ramsey will play for the Rams in Week 7. Khan made a decision to put an end to the drama after seemingly feeling betrayed, and Ramsey was dealt to the Los Angeles Rams Tuesday for two first-round picks and a fourth-rounder.

AS Monaco : Jardim rend hommage au duo Slimani-Ben Yedder…

Jacksonville was apparently looking for two first-round picks and a third-round pick, and the Rams' initial offer was for the two first-rounders.

But when Ramsey didn't, Khan was highly disappointed. Ramsey is only under contract through the 2020 season, setting him up to become the highest-paid cornerback in National Football League history, whenever he does ink his new deal with the Rams.

The Jaguars side other than Shad Khan understands the delicacy of the situation and would somehow make the Ramsey trade deal happen near the deadline.

Ramsey went through a second full practice with the Rams on Friday, three days after Los Angeles acquired the former All-Pro cornerback in a trade with Jacksonville.
