Lata Mangeshkar taken to Breach Candy hospital after complaint of breathing problem

The veteran singer complained of having breathing issues, following which Mangeshkar was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, according to The Hindu.

"She is critical and in ICU", News18 website quoted a hospital insider as saying.

Bollywood playback legend Lata Mangeshkar, who was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of Monday due to viral chest congestion as a "precautionary measure", is now stable and recovering.

Mangeshkar's younger sister Usha said the singer had a viral infection and should be discharged by Tuesday. But we chose to get her to hospital.
