Eagles DBs coach Cory Undlin hired by Lions as defensive coordinator

According to ESPN reporter Field Yates, the team will hire Philadelphia Eagles defensive backs coach Cory Undlin to take over as DC.

Undlin and Lions head coach Matt Patricia started their National Football League careers in 2004 as assistant coaches with the Patriots.

Since then, Undlin has been in Cleveland, Denver, Jacksonville and then Philadelphia, where he has been defensive backs coach since 2015.
