Ozzy Osbourne has faced his fair share of trials and tribulations, but nothing compared to 2019.

On Tuesday, the musician, his wife Sharon Osbourne and his children Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne, sat down with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America to discuss the icon's harrowing year. Having suffered a fall in February last year, the star admitted he'd had a "terribly challenging" year. "I did my last show New Year's Eve at The Forum".

"I had to have surgery on my neck which screwed all my nerves in", he said.

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that he has Parkinson's in an emotional interview. "It's PRKN 2", wife Sharon Osbourne explained. "It's not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does effect certain nerves in your body", Sharon added.

"I remember lying there thinking, 'Well, you've done it now.' Really calm", he said.

The fall happened in the couple's home last April and it prompted him to cancel his world tour.

To treat his symptoms, the singer is now taking Parkinson's medication and nerve pills.

"I've got numbness down this arm from the surgery", said Ozzy.

Passing on a message to his fans, he said: "I just can't wait to get well and I'll see you on the road again".

After that, he started experiencing nerve pain and doctors have had a hard time pinpointing whether the fall, the surgery, or his condition are to blame for his condition.

Speaking of his fans, Ozzy said: "I feel better now I've owned up to the fact that I have a case of Parkinson's".

"I'm no good with secrets. I can not walk around with it anymore 'cause it's like I'm running out of excuses, you know?" "It's kind of become a bit of a role reversal for us, where we have to be like, snap out of it, come on, we have to all admit what's happening here". "And it took a while for everyone to be on the same page".

He said he's been recovering for nearly a year now.

"I'm not dying", Osbourne said in a video he shared to Twitter in October 2019.

He added: "Coming from a working class background, I hate to let people down". I need it you know, that's my drug today. Ozzy himself piped in: "A year ago next month, I was in a shocking state".
