The World Health Organisation's latest figures, published yesterday, put the total number of coronavirus cases at 28, including 10 new ones, with five deaths.

Earlier on Monday, Iran's state television announced that the death toll from the virus in the country rose to 12 with 47 confirmed cases.

"We still do not agree with quarantining cities since we believe the people are cultured enough to refrain from travelling from infected cities to other places", semi-official news agency ISNA quoted him as saying.
