Well, that's a unique take on the weather report.

Justin Hinton, a news anchor for WLOS ABC 13 in North Carolina, unknowingly presented to his viewers as a wizard and a robot.

The scourge of low-budget news broadcasts and impromptu live streams has reared its ugly head once again as a TV reporter in the U.S. state of North Carolina forgot to disable the wacky Facebook Live Mystery Mask augmented reality filters before going on air to report on some unusual snowfall in the area.

Instead, the Charlotte journalist's presentation went hilariously awry after he inadvertently turned on the Facebook mask filter, causing him to be bombarded with various animated looks during the broadcast.

"The photographer I was working with said something about the screen having weird faces". He did not elaborate, so I said it would probably go away.

But he didn't realize until almost a minute into the live video that he'd accidentally enabled the Mystery Mask filter - so while he spoke seriously about a recent snowfall in the Charlotte area, viewers at home watched him with a purple mustache, a space-age helmet, and 50 lb. dumbbells that each flashed briefly on the screen.

"Now I am excited to look back at the video and see what's happening to my face", he can be heard saying the video.

Hinton wasn't the only one who found humor in the situation.

'My bosses, coworkers, friends, PIOs and more called/texted saying how amusing it was, so here you go. "Needless to say, it did not go away", Hinton wrote, adding, "If you can't laugh at yourself, what's the point of laughter?" 'I hope you enjoyed the snow day, and do not forget to smile and laugh!'

Facebook users appeared to enjoy the one-of-a-kind spin on the news. "Made me laugh like 3 times".
